The Selangor Zakat Board Ceremony

In a ceremony conducted at Istana Bukit Kayangan, Shah Alam, His Majesty the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, agreed to receive commercial zakat from 14 corporate firms to the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) totalling over RM24 million.

Gas Malaysia Berhad, DRB-HICOM Berhad, Northport Malaysia Berhad, UMW Holdings Berhad, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, CelcomDigi, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, and QSR Brands (M) Holdings Berhad are some of the business entities that are participating.

YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof, the chairman of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS), and YBhg. Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail, the chairman of LZS, were also in attendance.
